Overview

Kristine D. Vitemb serves as Senior Counsel at Sloan Attorneys, where she represents manufacturers, homebuilders, developers, and commercial businesses in complex construction and commercial litigation. Her practice focuses on product liability, construction defect litigation, warranty disputes, commercial litigation, arbitration, and risk management, with particular emphasis on representing clients throughout the construction industry.

Ms. Vitemb counsels clients through every stage of a dispute—from pre-suit resolution through litigation and arbitration. She regularly advises national manufacturers, builders, and commercial clients regarding product liability claims, warranty disputes, construction defect litigation, and litigation strategy while managing complex matters in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Vitemb plays a leading role in many of the firm's most significant litigation matters. She manages complex product liability and construction defect litigation, oversees large portfolios of residential construction arbitrations, and represents clients in sophisticated commercial litigation involving construction, development, and property owners' association disputes. She is responsible for drafting dispositive motions, complex legal briefing, and other significant filings in many of the firm's largest cases.

Before joining Sloan Attorneys, Ms. Vitemb practiced with private law firms in Houston and Dallas, representing businesses in commercial disputes and employment litigation. She also served for more than thirteen years with the Office of the General Counsel for the Social Security Administration, ultimately serving as Associate General Counsel. In that role, she represented the federal government in a wide range of matters, including federal litigation, appellate disability matters, civil rights investigations, bankruptcy fraud matters, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission proceedings, labor arbitrations, employment investigations, and agency counseling.
